Japanese Culture through Dance by Sachiyo Ito
In the two parts of the program Sachiyo Ito, Ph. D, will discuss major characteristics of Japanese culture as they appear in dance, and give a survey of the history of Japanese performing arts. Following she will show a demonstration of basic styles and techniques to illustrate dance and theater forms in her discussion.
