Salon Series No. 40. What makes Japanese Art?

Our 13th year of the Salon Series will include more guest artists than ever. No. 40 on May 22 will feature Calligraphy, Haiku, and Dance
Admission: $15, $10 for student & senior.
Now in its 13th year, the Salon Series is a series of informative and educational lectures, lecture-demonstrations and performances on the performing arts of Japan held three times a year on Sunday afternoons at Tenri Cultural Institute.

Sakura Matsuri (Cherry Blossom Festival)

The celebration of Hanami culminates in the two-day Sakura Matsuri cherry blossom festival, the nation’s largest event in a public garden. Visitors of all ages can enjoy music, workshops, and crafts.
